The Global Capital Network (GCN) team looks forward to hosting your upcoming private investor events. Here is an overview to assist in ensuring a smooth event from planning to production and execution.
Scheduling
Introduction to the catering manager at each location will be made so a reservation on the proper space and time can be made
DEAL FLOW PLATFORM
To submit your deal to our deal flow platform, please first create an account.
Global Deal Flow (GDF) is available on web along with dedicated mobile apps for iOS and Android that can be downloaded
Once an account is created you can submit your deal and we will get it approved as soon as possible
DAY OF EVENT
ARRIVAL TIME
Typically we recommend arriving 1 – 1.5 hours early to get settled in, begin putting documents on each table, ensure the laptop can connect and present properly, and begin to network with investors that arrive early
DRESS CODE
Professional attire, typically a suit or at least a dress shirt and sports coat. Branded dress shirts can be a plus depending on the deal
TIMELINE
Typically we allow about 1 – 1.5 hours from the start time for guests to arrive, meet the presenter’s team, place their orders and settle in before starting presentation.
PRESENTATION
Typically about 45 minutes to 1 hour presentation
INVESTOR Q&A
Typically about 15 minutes of questions answered, then we will have the presenter go table to table to introduce themselves and gather interest levels, feedback and answer further questions
COLLATERAL
PRINT OUTS: (optional)
It is good to plan to bring about 30 copies always so every investor and attendee can have a copy along with some extras if they want to distribute them to their partners
FEDEX print centers are available close by in most major cities which you can submit orders to online for local pickup close to your event

BUSINESS CARDS
We recommend bringing a lot of business cards for each important member of the team, it can show strength to have more than one card to hand out. We recommend leaving a business card for each staff member at each seat and keeping extra to hand out individually as well.

to run the PowerPoint from HDMI Port: there is typically an HDMI cord into the presentation screen or TV.
USB HUB
If you do not have an HDMI port on your laptop we recommend getting a USB adapter, either a USB-A if you have older USB ports or the newer USB-C if you have one of those ports

- If hosting across multiple cities, a separate tab will be utilized to separate the attendees by location (IE: Newport Beach, Beverly Hills)
