Summary of the attached slides:

• No serious competition before many years as it takes 8-10 years to get aircraft certification.
• “Sorry,weather not suitable for flying”: not anymore with PAL-V. Just make your return journey by driving on the road !
• Park your PAL-V at home, in your garage (can save 1000-2000 euros of hangar cost per month). Landing speed is 15 km/h (grass even better than tarmac).
• Able to replace helicopters in many applications: much safer, much cheaper, much less acrobatic, much less noisy, more comfortable.
• Till now, flying is almost always done for hobby, but with FlyDriving it becomes a practical mobility solution: get rid of weather dependence and hassle of three vehicles.
• Equipped with two ROTAX engines. ROTAX is the world leader for small aircraft engines. Service is available world-wide.
• Landing almost vertical (30m), short take-off (180m). Vertical take-off will be offered later. However, the driving capability is a much bigger advantage than vertical take-off and landing. Vehicles that do vertical take-off and do not drive will always require special landing places. Helicopters require very skilled pilots.
• An electric version will be produced when battery technology will allow it. Today’s electric technology only allows flights of 30 minutes maximum, whatever the plane. Battery improvements go with 3-5% per year, so we have a long time to wait.
• 102 individual shareholders from 6 continents. Exit organized once the first 50 customers will have received their PAL-V. Already over 60 customers have made a down payment.
